Professional Performance, All the Time! Part 2

February 1, 2025 / 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm EST

Learn practical strategies to enhance your interpreting and translation performance using techniques inspired by professional sports.

Interpreting and translating are a high-wire act, often compared to the Olympic Games of language performance. They blend art and science while constantly challenging our intellect, worldview, cognition, and emotions. This may be why many language professionals struggle to perform at their best, frustrating both themselves and their clients.

Fortunately, there’s a better approach, one that draws inspiration from high-level sports. This approach can be learned and practiced to help achieve consistent excellence.

In this webinar, you will begin learning how to:

  1. Approach what you do systematically, thoughtfully, and rigorously.
  2. Scale the sunlit uplands of “out-of-your-skin” skills delivery, to the delight of all involved.
  3. Accomplish what you thought was always beyond your pay grade.
  4. Achieve a considerable competitive edge, peer respect, and client esteem.
